Cheesecake Swirl

Instructions

Chocolate Cake

  1. Oil a 9” x 13” baking dish and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. In large bowl, use a hand mixer to blend the butter and the sweetener until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, followed by the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  5. Use a large spatula to fold the Fearless Chocolate mix into the wet mixture in the large bowl and blend well to form a smooth batter. Note: batter will be fairly loose but will thicken as it stands.
  6. Pour the batter into the baking dish and set aside.

Cheesecake Swirl

  1. In a separate large bowl, use a hand/electric mixer to blend together the cheesecake ingredients until smooth.
  2. Use a spoon to drop the cheesecake batter evenly over the top of the chocolate cake batter in the baking dish. Use a knife to gently swirl the cheesecake batter into the cake batter.
  3. Optional: sprinkle finely chopped chocolate or chocolate chips over the top.
  4. Bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, covering the dish with foil after 30 minutes, until edges are a golden brown and separate from the sides of the dish. Note: the center will still be slightly loose, but will continue to cook after removing from oven. Baking time should not exceed 45 minutes.
  5. After removing from oven, keep dish covered and allow to cool to room temperature before placing in refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. This will ensure that the cheesecake hardens and will be easier to slice.
  6. Freeze any leftover slices in an airtight container.
