Maple Cream Pecan Tart

Tart Crust




  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Coat a 11” round or equivalent baking dish with butter or your choice of oil.
  3. In a large bowl, combine butter, sweetener, vanilla and egg yolk.
  4. Beat with electric mixer until well blended.
  5. Add flour and baking powder and mix well.
  6. Stir in ground pecans.
  7. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  8. Bake in oven for 10 minutes and set aside.


  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sweetener, maple extract and vanilla.
  2. Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add in eggs and egg whites and beat well.
  3. Evenly spread mixture over baked crust.
  4. Sprinkle with pecan garnish.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until filling is set and light brown around edges.
  6. Chill before serving.
