Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring gently until smooth consistency.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent scorching.
  4. Keep watch so that the mixture does not continue to boil.
  5. Remove from heat. Mixture will continue to thicken as it cools.

    1. Cátia, nice to meet you! You can definitely substitute monk fruit for either Erythritol or Stevia. The Lakanto powdered monk fruit we link to is actually already a blend between Erythritol and Monk Fruit sweetener anyways :).

      If you wanted to use powdered Erythritol instead of the Lakanto powdered monk fruit sweetener, start with a 1:1 conversion. So try 1/2 cup of powdered Erythritol for this Sweetened Condensed Milk recipe.

      These conversions are never an exact science, but here is a great conversion calculator that will show you the different conversions between different sweeteners.
